I have been working in IT projects for well over two decades now. From quality assurance, Information Analysis to Project Management. And as I found challenges very inspiring, I also notices that in every role there were tasks that drained my energy. Energy that I would love to use in facing the challenges (think hourly administrations as a project member, report on hours spent as a project manager for example). My colleagues during my career will probably recognize my tendency to think of ways to automate the “obligational stuff” enabling myself and my team to focus on creating value for customers.

And all that now comes to fruition, and luckily with one of my oldest, most trusted partners in this specific “crime”, Pieter Naber.

From his attic to the boardroom, Pieter Naber’s journey is one of pure passion and insatiable curiosity. As a 14-year-old youngest son of 4, he discovered the magic of coding, and he has never looked back since.

With the energy of a jack-of-all-trades and the precision of a Swiss watch, Pieter effortlessly juggles his roles as tech guru, entrepreneur and privacy advocate. He’s the man who cobbles together a complex app in the morning, advises a SaaS company on data protection in the afternoon, and quickly maps out the future of the internet in the evening.

But make no mistake – behind that sharp technical mind lies a real people person. Pieter’s superpower? Translating geek-speak into human language, so that even your grandma understands why her cookie data needs to be safe.

When he’s not working magic behind his computer, you’ll probably find Pieter cycling along the canals of Leiden, meditating on the next big tech breakthrough, or enthusiastically bickering about his 2 daughters.
